Prof. R. Venkataswami Medal – Best Paper Presentation Guidelines

1. Eligibility Criteria

• Open to Junior Consultants in Plastic Surgery.
• Consultants must have less than 5 years of experience after completion of their M.Ch. or DNB training.
• The paper must be based on original work conducted by the presenter or their team.

2. Submission Details & Rules

• Abstract Submission Deadline: on or before 31 December 2025.
• Submission Email: abstract.tanpaps2026@gmail.com.
• Submit a covering letter along with the abstract, declaring that the presenter meets the eligibility criteria.
• The paper title should not reveal the name of the institution or hospital.
• All submissions should follow ethical research standards and maintain patient confidentiality.

3. Presentation Format and Evaluation

Presentation:

• Each presenter will be allotted 8 minutes for presentation followed by 2 minutes for discussion.
• Presentations should be clear, structured, and focused on objectives, methodology, results, and conclusions.
• Questions may be asked by the judges or any member of the audience.

Evaluation Criteria:

• Originality and clinical relevance of the work.
• Clarity of objectives and methodology.
• Quality of results and discussion.
• Presentation skills and time management.
• Response to questions from judges.
